It is our goal to make art class educational, insightful and most importantly - fun. Students have art class once a week during which they study art history,aesthetics, criticism, and art production.
Students will study color theory, the elements and principles of design and how to interpret meaning in visual art.
We explore a wide variety of media and students will discover the art of many different cultures, movements and times. Many of the art lessons may be messy and it is wise to not dress your child in their best clothing on art day.
We are proud of the visual art program here at Shakerag and are delighted to have the opportunity to work with the creative students of Shakerag.
